"The Pokémon Man" is "da man", and has sent us some details of what to expect from the Gamestation Eon Ticket Promotion today. Psythor will be going later today- expect pictures.

"Hi I've just been to the Gamestation and got me Eon Ticket, i also gotgiven a goodie bag and a poster. In the bag was a booster pack of Ex-Sandstorm cards, a black baseball cap advertising Gamecube, 6 postcards (Ruby and Sapphire styles), 2 tatoos (Groudon and Kyorge), and as i said, the poster. It was advertising Zelda on Gamecube... did I miss something, wasn't today about pokémon? Its just like advertising washing up liquid when someone buys a dishwasher!!!

Being the nosey soul I am, I asked if they had any special release dates for games and they have been told October 2004 for us getting Fire Red and Leaf Green, though the man said he would expect it to be more of a January 2005."

Loss-leading marketing has never been so fun!
