Pokémon to return to GMTV! :: News

GMTV will start airing Pokémon as part of Up On The Roof again from this Sunday at 8.25am.

After around a year's absence, the Pokémon animé will be shown as part of the Up On The Roof segment of GMTV. It appears to be a totally new line up for the show which is presented by Jamie Rickers this Sunday, as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers Ninja Storm have been put to one side in favour of a more animé schedule: there's Pokémon at 8.25 and Yu-Gi-Oh also makes a return at 8.55.

The last episode of Pokémon to be shown was Espeon, Not Included in April 2003. Unfortunately for terrestrial viewers, the episodes after that were shown on GMTV2. However, this Sunday it is likely they will show the new episodes which include the Johto league finals and also the start of Ash's journey into Hoenn.
