Once a year, there is a day that is (or at least should be) special to all visitors of this site. That day has come.

This date is, as many of you undoubtably know, the first time a pope visited a communist country (Pope John Paul II visiting Poland in 1979), the day of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the birthday of many important people such as Henry VIII, Marquis de Sade, Vladimir Golubnichy, and a now seventeen year old boy named, depending on who you talk to, Psythor, James or 'that geek who runs a Pokémon website'.

Unfortunately, we have no-one with hs amazing image editing qualities ready, so you'll have to do with our rehashed pictures. We're just no match for his amazingness in this.

Psythor has gained international fame by creating and maintaining a site called Pokémon UK, or PUK as it is affectionally called. Originally a small Pokémon site of which he'd rather forget about now, it has grown out to become the large site it is today. His success even prompted the creation of a fansite.

All this has not stopped him from expanding into other things. He is a regular writer for the satire site Canned Ham, and he regularily entertains us with his photoshopped pictures. He also enjoys spouting out random interesting facts, as you can often see in our news updates and just about anywhere else he posts, and has an interest in, of all things, politics.

So, all in all, the whole site's staff would like to congratulate Psythor with his seventeenth birthday, and the fact that now, after all his wishful comments about this in other birthday updates, he can finally legally own that crossbow he has always wanted.
