The Official Japanese Site has even more screenshots and information about the upcoming sequel to Ruby and Sapphire!

There's a few mysteries about the game. Firstly, Japanese Magazine Corocoro posted the picture on the left hand side in their latest issue. He (or maybe even she) is a new character in the game, and Corocoro reckon he/she might be a new Gym Leader! They also posted details about a man who seems to appear from time to time (shown centred below), appearing after you've defeated each Gym. Judging by his looks we're guessing he's some sort of eccentric tourist, although we can't rule out the possibility of the main character having a stalker.

It also appears that the PokéNav has a new feature - The Entry Call! Think back to the good old days of G/S/C, when Fisherman would ring you up to consistently whinge about failing to catch THAT Magikarp. Remember? Well it's like that but it's changed. You see, this time if a trainer wants to a rematch against you, at the simple press of a button you can teleport to trainer and battle them there and then! Police are apparantly keen to investigate this feature, following the recent theft of many teleporter pads from the Saffron City Gym.

There's also a fair bit of new information regarding the New Battle Feature, which are found in the "Battle Frontier" - which could be thought of as a battling theme park. Two new feature have been revealed, including the Battle Area (pictured) where you get judged on how you battle, rather than if you win or lose, and the Battle Factory, where you face a 3 VS 3 Battle, only using random Pokemon.

Finally, what some might call the real treat of Emerald. We finally have some pictures regarding a new Speed Form of Deoxys! It excels in Speed, funnily enough.
