Colosseum 2 Confirmation? :: News

Random House, the world's biggest publisher and publisher of the Prima Games guides had an interesting addition to their list of guides- which was hastily removed after Poképeople spotted it!

As we reported last month, it looks like another Pokémon game is coming to the Gamecube- one that looks like a "proper" Pokémon RPG- that is to say, catching Pokémon, gyms and all that fun. Random House had "Pokémon Colosseum 2" listed on one of their lists. It's since been removed.

Now for the wild, if not irresponsible, speculation. It was listed as "Colosseum 2" - does this suggest that the new game will be just a "standard" sequel to the originally Colosseum and not the free-roaming "long grass"-fest we'd hoped for?

Maybe it's just a code-name for the sequel, as afterall, it's still being made, and the people who make the guide for a some foreigners are not going to be at the top of "who gets top secret information" list.

Maybe it was just a typo or a mistake and I'm blowing it all out of proportion? A bit like if you were to inject more air into one side of Robert Kilroy Silk's face, or something.
