Nintendo have seen a sharp drop in profits over the last quarter - time to roll out more Pokémon.

Nintendo are due to feel a profit drop of 78.5% over the last quarter according to 1UP, namely due to lacklustre sales in the GBA SP, Nintendo DS and Nintendo Gamecube. The Gamecube has had very few exclusive titles over the past few months so there has been little uptake of the console itself. Generally Nintendo's policy is bad sales = new Pokémon game so expect the announcement of an entire suite of games over the coming months to try and boost sales. Then again, my William Hill account doesn't speak kindly of my ability to predict well.
