They're crafty people, them Nintendo lot.First off, they attempt to get you to part with your hard earned cash by releasing TWO Pokémon Dungeon games at once - Blue for the DS and Red for the GBA.
Secondly, they've found a way of making sure you never play anything other than these games as soon as you've got them.
Y'see, by plugging the Red Version into the GBA game slot IN the DS whilst you're playing the Blue Version ON the DS, you can interact between the games and do all sorts of magic things.
However, lurking inside Nintendo's prized code lies a secret bug, determined to wreck havoc upon gamers.
For if, whilst playing your Blue Version, any other game is in the GBA Cartridge, just like magic, your save data on the GBA Cartidge will simply disappear. Oo-er.
Moral of the Story: Either contact the Japanese Nintendo via a lovely Japanesey form for a replacement Blue Version, or simply avoid placing other games in the GBA cartridge whilst on your Blue DS Version.
When asked about this, a Nintendo spokesperson simply laughed and muttered "That'll teach you to play Yu-Gi-Oh".
