DS Revolution are reporting that the games will apparently use every DS feature- that is to say, the touchscreen, the microphone and the paperweight. Oh, and the wifi.He reckons that in the finished game, people will be able to play each other online- and chat to each other too (the latter a major missing feature in the first generation of online DS games like Mario Kart and Tony Hawk).
Lets hope Game Freak pull this one off- it has the potential to be spectacular. I, for one, can't wait to be thrashed repeatedly by people who know how to make decent squads... and here's hoping they setup some sort of equivilent to the American Sk8land "skate crews" albeit with a less rad and with-it name, so we can all join up in a glorious PKMN.NET "crew" (or whatever) and I can manipulate your lives even when you're not browsing PUK. I can't wait. Let the mindless speculation begin!
