Fancy a few more bits of D/P news?

First up, there's another new Pokémon:

This fellow doesn't have a name yet, but it appears to be a new evolution of Electabuzz.

And now a couple of general pictures:

This shows us that the touch screen will allow us to literally "drag" some items onto our Pokémon to use them, similar to what happens on Animal Crossing.

This meanwhile, is the long awaited Map of Shinou, the new region.

In other news, we've got some slightly better official pictures of all the recently revealed Pokémon:

And D/P wise that's about it. Still that new Pokémon, eh? Wouldn't like to meet it down the back of a dark alley would you?

UPDATE - 16/07

Although this isn't 100% confirmed, a few other facts have emerged from the official site:

Roselia might have an evolution
Shinou has an underground part to it
Attacks will be Special or Physical based on what they actually are and do, rather than their types
This years group of starters may be Dark/Fighting/Psychic!

This fellow is the stated evolution of Roselia. It's called Rozureido.

UPDATE - 21/07

This is getting ridiculous now.

This is a new firefly Pokémon called Korobooshi. A pre-evolution of Volbeat and Illumise, maybe?

There's also a few more pieces of general information:

Lucario can learn Bone Rush, Metal Sound and two new moves: Anticipate, which hits the opponent with a force 1.5x the power of the opponents attack (before the opponent attacks), and Force Excert, which is a standard Fighting type attack.
Dorapion will know four brand new attacks: Poison Barb, Fire Fang, Thunder Fang and Ice Fang.
Mime Jr. will be able to learn Mimic, Psybeam and two new attacks: Filter, which halves the damage an attack does to Mime Jr by an opponent is that same attack has any additional effects attached to it, and Manekko, which is a weaker version of Mimic that will presumably be renamed.

A little bit of minor news here as well - Amazon reckon the eighth Pokémon Movie - Lucario and the Mystery of Mew - well be released in the US on 19th September. Further rumours suggest a European release sometime around the 50th anniversary of Tony Blair's death.
