I'm excited! Not only because my Manchester United beat Phil's Celtic. Again.
But by something nice coming from a news conference about the Nintendo Wii today!
At 10.10am this morning, a Q&A session involving a man who we shall call "Tarquin" and a Nintendo Representative who we shall call "Nintendo Representative" went something like this:
Tarquin: Online competition?
Nintendo Representative: What's been announced in Japan is that first online multiplayer game will be a Pokemon title for Japan.
Tarquin: When will it be here in the States?
Nintendo Representative: Shortly thereafter.
In case you're currently staring blankly at your screen, allow me to sum it up for you:
Pokémon Battle Revolution will be the first online battling game released for the Nintendo Wii on December 2nd, and will "shortly thereafter" be released in America!
Get excited Americans! Europeans - due to Nintendo's past record, all we can get excited about currently is the news. And Manchester United beating Celtic.
