Yeah, Psythor isn't a very good journalist. Here's some pictures of things that were there:

There was a laptop running trailers for Pokémon merchandise, backed by a big logo. We believe members of staff were giving out Pokémon quiz sheets- although we can't confirm this. The investigative journalists within us didn't think of actually asking the staff what was going on.

The thing people were really there for was the chance to obtain up to ten Pokémon as voted for by the general public earlier in the year. The queue was constantly lengthly, as rare Pokémon like the legendary birds and dogs were on offer.

Incredibly, we were spotted by two PUK members: Voltorb2005 and CS10|Three Evils (not their real names, you should probably run away from home if your parents name you an alphanumeric). Here's a picture of the two of them with Mike (Typhlosion).

You can tell by Three Evil's face that he's dead chuffed he's met a guy on the internet who isn't a nutter.

When Voltorb2005 isn't busy being a tool of consumerism, she's busy battling...

She put up quite a fight, so Psythor tried to cheer on and encourage his pal Mike, primarily by waving his arms...

Mike won! Look at that smug grin on his face!

A bit later a chap named Tom turned up, who is also a regular reader. He beat Mike in a [Pokémon] battle to the death.

Its a bit weird having the rubbish you've written on the internet being repeated back to you by people you've never met before. Excellent though. Here's a video of our PUK user's thoughts about the day...
