Has already earned over 2 Billion Yen ($16 million!)! Also, info on Movie 11!

Today sees the release of the 10th (!) Pokemon movie in Japan. Thanks to the Pre-Sale tickets, the film has already earnt over 2 billion yen (That's around £8-10 Mill in real money), which also gets you a Deoxys download for your D/P game (Incase you re wondering why a Deoxys, it won a poll for which Pokemon should be available to download. The choices were previous Pokemon from the movies) and all attendees get a lovely Darkrai for their games as well, so there might be a few ligit going about online on D/P if you re after one.

The movie's theme is sung by Sarah Brightman (Wasnt she in the Phantom of the Opera?)

As with every release, a Trading Card set is available to buy to celebrate the latest movie's release. However, this year's set includes previous leed Pokemon from the previous films. They are:

2: Lugia of Explosive Birth

3: Entei of Crystal Tower

4: Celebi of Traversed Time

5: Water Guardian Latias

6: Water Guardian Latios

7: Jirachi of Seven Nights

8: Deoxys of the Space Fissure

10: Wave Guiding Hero Lucario

11: Sea Emperor Manaphy

12: Darkrai

Expect the movie's Japanese DVD release in December. The US will it see next year and the UK in something like 5 years time no doubt.

And finally, as with previous movies, there was the usual confirmsion of the next movie, which featured a giant hand coming out of the ground, in a field of flowers to be exact. Will the next film feature Regigigas and a certain Hedgehog event Pokemon? Only time will tell.
