Farewell to lovely merchandise in America...

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

The Online Pokemon Store, PokemonCenter.com, has annonced it will be closing down on the 31st January. According to it's FAQ, they have decided to sell their merchandise through retail partners (So Toys-R-Us I persume...).

You can still place orders on the website, but only till 11:59pm EST Jan 31st and not a second later. Returns can be made till 21st February. There have not been any price reductions because of this yet, but you never know.

Rumours were quickly spreading that such a Pokémon Center might be popping up in Europe soon to take it's place.

Then we had a reality check
