Yeah, we didn't know too much about these puzzles either. They're fun, though, and now they're about Pokémon!

Yeah, so normally we don't do news items about fan projects. Sometimes, however, something comes along that's just so much fun that we can't do anything else than add a note about it here.
Apparently, there's a large Picross community that has some relationship to the Wii and can be used from the Wii. Picross, for those ignorami visiting here, are some sort of puzzles that you can use to make images with by looking at numbers for rows and columns. Or something like that, at least. It's fun.
(Okay, so I admit it... I always fail to do them properly and just fill in random blocks when I get fed up with them)
Anyway, so there's now a larger community over at Wii Picross (no, no Piicross... you just missed the chance for a groan-worthy joke there!) that is working on creating Picross puzzles for all Pokémon. I am told that over sixty are done so far, but surely that has changed by the time you read this.
The list is available at This Wii Picross forum topic. Take a look, and enjoy them. Be sure to report back with the scores you can apparently get. Do us proud, and so on, if you can actually manage to do so.
