And YOU could be there! UPDATED 19/09

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

What's that? You still haven't got Darkrai?

What's that? You want to see the tenth Pokémon movie - The Rise of Darkrai - before it even comes out on DVD in the UK?

Well I can't help, but the lovely people at Network certainly can! We've received word from Network - the company releasing The Rise of Darkrai on DVD in the UK - to tell us that on Sunday 28th September (that's the day before the DVD is released), there will be FREE screenings of the films in three Odeon cinemas - the famous Leicester Square Odeon, the Printworks in Manchester and Springfield Quay in Glasgow.

You can apply to win tickets to the Leicester Square screening by clicking here and to the Manchester screening by clicking here! We've been told a link may be available for the Glasgow screening soon; if so, it'll be posted here as soon as we get it.

Please note the above websites are merely links we have been given. PKMN.NET (and presumably Network) are not responsible for the content of either website.

Winners should arrive at the venue at 10am, with the film beginning at 10.30am (which probably means about 10.50am the way cinemas are always late). Goody bags will be available to those in attendance, as well as another chance to download Darkrai onto your Pokémon Diamond or Pearl game! Remember to take your game and DS!

That's that then. If anyone is lucky enough to win, why not write a report for PKMN.NET? Oh go on. We'll be nice to you as a reward.

UPDATE: 19/09 Click here to enter the Glasgow competition!

Well it's cool that it will be able to be aired in cinemas, but couldn't they do that throughout the country, as well as on these days. Have it premiere on those days and then have it in the cinema for a week until the DVD is brought out.

I couldnt watch the new films the new voices just seem weird to me - maybe its ok for a new generation but not for people like me who have been watching since 1997
