Breaking news: The games won't be in black and white!

Well, to be honest, CoroCoro HAVEN'T confirmed the games won't be in black and white. For all we know, all the previous, following and future screenshots might all be designed to trick us. We'll assume they're full technicolour dreamcoat wannabees though.
But yes, the latest issue of Japanese supermagazine CoroCoro has been released to the Japanese public (funny that), with a few interesting new tidbits about the upcoming Gold/Silver remakes. Rather than spew a little bit out yesterday and today and tomorrow, we've decided to paste it all together now it's all been dissected. Come on kids, let's learn with Mike!
- ANY Pokémon can be chosen to follow you. Not just starters, as previously thought. You can interact with them to see how happy they are and "stuff".
Look! A Wobbuffet to poke!
It is of course completely your choice, but I
wouldn't poke the Steelix personally.
- Touch me baby - The touch screen has been fully integrated into this game.
Unfortunately, using the stylus on your Pokémon causes them to be covered in a red mist which eats away at them. Not that anyone EV trains Mareep anyway, so no worries there.
- Kanto IS still in the game - But what is this mysterious new place next to the National Park?
Fortunately the next version of Google Streetview should give us a better idea.
- Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza ALL make an appearance - Kyogre is available in HeartGold, Groudon is available in SoulSilver and when they're put on the same game it will trigger an event which makes Rayquaza appear.
From a mathematical point of view, that's actually a pretty awful image.
- Jirachi! - Those spoilt Japanese people will have a special Jirachi giveaway for their Diamond/Pearl/Platinum games between June 19th and July 17th. This Jirachi comes holding a Liechi Berry and with a special move, Draco Meteor. Excitingly though, it looks like it will unlock a new area when traded onto HeartGold/SoulSilver.
It has something to do with McDonalds as well. No, stop laughing, I'm being serious this time. Check the full scans at the bottom if you don't believe me.
- Arceus! - There's certainly some sort of Arceus event within the game, which includes an appearance from Cynthia of D/P/Pt fame. This is unconfirmed, but it's rumoured trading a future event Arceus onto the game will unlock Level 1 version of Dialga, Palkia and Giratina.
Fresh from her memory wipe, Cynthia wonders if the three flashing circles on the floor next to Arceus means that something big is about to happen.
- A new type of Pokédex! - We don't know much about it, other than that it's table based.
I don't know whether I like this or not...
We have 6 full scans from CoroCoro, which can be found by clicking the following links:
And that is pretty much it. Pre-orders begin for the game in Japan on July 4th, suggesting we'll have a full Japanese release date by then (estimations suggest a September/October release). Still no word on anything Celebi related, but I still think it's too big an opportunity to finally include it in a game to turn down.
Go on. Gossip amongst yourselves.
