The new legendaries for Pokémon Black and White have been revealed! Also some smaller details!

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Pokemon.com has excitingly revealed the new Legendary Pokémon set to feature at the heart of Pokémon Black and Pokémon White!

This rather ugly looking chap is called Zekrom (ゼクロム). He's the mascot of Pokémon White. Click here for a bigger image.

This even uglier looking chap is called Reshiram (レシラム). He's the mascot of Pokémon Black. Click here for a bigger image.

... yes, that is seriously all of the information revealed about them. Reckon they stand for good and evil? The site did reveal that the games will be released in Japan in September 2010, and will likely follow in the US in Spring 2011. We expect more to follow in next months CoroCoro though, so check back soon!

EDIT: A new video posted on the Official Japanese site shows that as you walk through cities, the camera will zoom in as you get deeper into the city, before zooming out again as you leave the city again. Also, here are the official Black and White boxes:

Well since it has been revealed, Zekrom IS Dragon/Electric and Reshiram is Dragon/Fire. I don't see the fire qualities in Reshiram, but the electric part of Zekrom is quite clear when you observe its 'tail'. It looks like some type of generator. Reshiram is nearly void of any fire-type qualities though (maybe the 'feathers' on its head is like fire?)

I think Zekrom is just plain awesome!But the sad part is I might not be able to catch it because my SNORLAX will probobly 1 hit KO it

I have my own legendary pokemon that I created myself. I did not reveal them to anyone yet, and I didn't post them on the internet. If I could just make my own game without hacking, I guarantee you the game would be better and cooler than pkmn white and black. I even have a pokemon villain squad in my game. I've got everything. Especially less ugly pokemon-which are my new creations.

There is also one problem with pkmn white and black- Palkia & Dialga are enemies,but they have a peacemaker-giratina. Where is Zekrom's and Reshiram's peacemaker. P.S.-Kyogre and Groudon's peacemaker is rayquaza. So they should make another pokemon game called pokemon gray version, which has zekrom's and reshiram's peacemaker in it.

Zekrom11, I think you need a pokemon who knows the pokemon attack-false swipe. False Swipe will attack but will prevent the enemy pokemon from fainting, leaving it with 1 HP.
