Scans and if you're lucky actual information within. More revelations made on 08-08!
This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.
There's more information revealed in today's CoroCoro, both new Pokémon and such and details on other things.
We've uploaded scans of Shikijika and a gym leader called Aloe.
To start with Shikijika (May need or lack a few 'i's, we can't be sure). The second scan, shown above, shows how this Grass/Normal type Pokémon changes looks with the season. Seasons, by the way, change every month, rather than every three months, and as you can see above, it also causes the terrain to look different each time.
Shikijika's ability is Chlorophyll. It's 0.4m tall and weighs 5kg. Its evolution's silhouette is shown in the main scan next to it.
To the right you can see Aloe. She's a gym leader in Shippou City.
Also check out our Preview Dex for all we know about the current Pokémon. We'll update it with details of these Pokémon later.
And some more, hopefully real now, details have been revealed. I don't have the time to write a larger update, so maybe someone else will give this an update if they can be bothered, but here's the basic info at least:
- The swan Pokémon is called Swana, Water/Flying, with Keen Eye or Pigeon Heart. It learns Storm, a move where the accuracy depends on the weather.
- Moguryu the Mole Pokémon is a Ground type with Sand Throw or Sand Power as ability. Sand Power apparently increases the power of attacks in a sandstorm.
- Miruhoggu the Precaution Pokémon is Normal type with Illuminate or Keen Eye. "It lights up the pattern on its body to threaten its opponents."
- Kurumiru seems to be the previously unnamed Bug/Grass type Sewing Pokémon with Swarm or Chlorophyll. It learns Bug Resistance, which attacks two Pokémon at once.
- Mamanbou the Nursing Pokémon is the Luvdisc look-a-like that might be a rip-off or a clue non-Isshu Pokémon will appear earlier in the game. It has Hydration or Healing Heart, which cures an ally's status conditions.
- Shikijika is a Season Pokémon. Its abilities can be Chlorophyll or Herbivore (raises attack when hit by Grass attacks).
An overview list, presumably revealing something to those capable of reading Japanese, is here
About the adventure and locations, the player starts in Kanoko Town, meet Team Plasma in Karakusa Town and battle the first gym leader Dento in Sanyo City. We know nothing else about him or any of the locations yet.
There's also three battling-related notes:
- Rotation Battle allows you to attack with only one Pokémon each round.
- Miracle Shooter allows you to use items in wireless battles by collecting points each round. Use of it is optional.
- Battle Subway is a Battle Tower-like setup where you can earn battle points by winning seven battles in a row.
There's also another look at the covers which reveal that, for some reason, the colour of the legendaries' tails can change. We don't know why either, or why you should care, but they do. Obviously the most important thing ever.
More complete details, including such smaller things like height/weight stats, are in our Minidex.
UPDATE: Not from CoroCoro but intresting nevertheless. It seems seasons will play an additional role besides graphically. Parts of the map can only be accessed during certain seasons and the player will recive new clothes.
Exact details are unkown.
