On this wet October day, we need something to feel good about. Say, a birthday. Actually, make it two. That's even better.
This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.
And these aren't just birthdays. They're very special birthdays. Of two very special people, that is. Although the number is special too. But it's about the people. So yes.
We'll start with the first, that of Kay. Also known as Dragonpika. Also known as Cabbage. Not properly edible though, that's just disgusting.
Kay's been all sorts of things around here (although all of them being a female), such as moderator, admin, peacemaker and pacemaker during a rather intense part of this year's meet. We shall not discuss this further.
She's turned 19, which means that it's not the most exciting age to reach, but it's something to enjoy, Kay, because it's the last year you'll be able to claim you're a teen, with all the irresponsibilities that come with it. Even if it might not have felt that way, enjoy them while you can!
Studying in York now, Kay is becoming even smarter, something claimed impossible by several people (all of whom have not studied there, so what do they know?). She seems to be enjoying herself, and we all hope she's had a very nice day enjoying it. Congratulations Kay!
From the birthday girl to the birthday boy, Peter has already finished studying in York, showing how he's very smart already. He's also a good cook, upcoming journalist and all-round nice guy. Of course, I'm biased, but just ask for cookies and you'll see how good his baking skills are. Other things might be more difficult to prove.
Peter has turned 21 today, making him a proper adult in several more places. Were he American, he'd be forward to being able to legally buy booze. Unfortunately, he isn't. And he doesn't drink. So really, it's not that important. But it's his birthday, so that's good!
Enjoy it with some good food, some good TV and some good times. We hope you enjoyed your presents too. (Also, on a personal note, love you)
Congratulations Peter! Congratulations Kay! We hope you had a good day and we wish you have a great year ahead.
