Nintendo have today held conferences to confirm the release dates of the Nintendo 3DS!
The console, which will allow 3D images without the need for 3D glasses, will be released in Europe on March 25th 2011, following closely by an American release on March 27th.
While no European price point has been released, it will cost $249.99 in the US, which translates to just over £156 or €185. Although I am told the UK can expect a price point of around £229.99. I know I know. My wallet is crying too.
I thoroughly recommend that you DO NOT pre-order the device yet until it is clear exactly what price the console will be at different retailers. There is NO RRP for the 3DS and hence the price WILL vary in different places.
So, following the shock news about the BW release dates, Europe once again come marginally ahead of America. Is this going to set the standards for future releases? We'll leave you with a picture of the beauty.
