To celebrate the release date of the 3DS being revealed today, we present this article to you in 3D!
This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.
As everyone who frequents this website will know, 19th January is Joenoday. The day upon which we celebrate the birth of our owner, coder and lightbulb enthusiast, Jeroen.
Jeroen spent the earlier years of his life living in a windmill in the Hollanderlands, where he made his early fortune from his first ever business: Clogadills, supplying the world with much needed clog and daffodills. Speaking at the launch of his most famous product, the "Daffaclog", Jeroen famously addressed the world with "Goo ga ga goo me clever goo ga ga goo". Afterall, at 6 months old he was yet to learn many words.
In 2010 Jeroen left behind his wooden empire and went to live in a castle in deepest darkest London. There he works in computers, shrinking himself down using his shrinking ray invention and physically entering the computers themselves in order to fix whatever problems have arisen (using made worse by Mike trying to fix something himself instead of being patient). In fact to celebrate his contribution to the modern computerised world, Bill Gates himself asked Nintendo to honour his excellence and very existance, by creating a Nintendo 3DS game in his honour. "Joeno: The Game" will hit shelves on January 19th 3011 and will feature Joeno in all his excellence, in glorious 3D, teaching you step-by-step how to create clogs using nothing more than PHP, PVA glue and a couple of bendy drinking straws. So says the press release anyway.
In his spare time Jeroen enjoys sitting on his throne, changing into different colours (Jeroen the Kecleon, hmm...) and juggling steak knives. Occasionally all at the same time as well. He has just launched the Translation feature on this very website, something he had slaved over for 2 long hours (most men would take 14 years in fact) and has many more exciting projects in his mind for you to all look forward to over the coming months.
Jeroen works incredibly hard for the site and we hope that everyone takes a couple of seconds to thank him for his contribution. After the last couple of years I think it's safe to say that this site would not be anywhere near as big as it is, or even here at all, without his massive contributions. So raise a pint to him tonight as we all join hands together to say "Happy Joenoday!"
Note: Not everything claimed in this article may be true. At all.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEROEN!
