2 More Pokemon Movies get UK DVD Releases! :: News

Arceus and the Shaymin of Life?

We all know that when it comes to Pokemon DVDs, the UK gets the shorter end of the stick. Well better late then never, not one but two Pokemon movies are coming this November on DVD in the UK!

And no, it's not the Victini films.

Giratina and the Sky Warrior and Arceus and the Jewel of Life will be release on the same day come November 28th, two days short of St Lapras Day (Better known as a certain Mod's birthday), and at a bargain Â£6.99 each! Better late then never I guess, and they'd make good Xmas Stocking Gifts won't they? Both are available for pre-order from those nice Amazon.co.uk folk.

So, will you buy both, or one? As Oak would say, which one will YOU choose?

I ought to be ecstatic over this... but I'll believe the release date when I actually see the DVDs in my local HMV. I mean... I still haven't got over the whole Movie 7 thing. D:

Don't forget Umby2000, these films were shown on TV before wheres the 7th never had a TV showing. Chances are, these 2 have been rated by the BBFC and should have no problems.

Also, Universal previously released the 13th last month too, wheres the 7th was going to be released by someone else...

Fair enough. =P You can do searches on the BBFC Website and I just had a peak. Both Movies 11 and 12 have been rated U (on 17/10/2011... precise...) whereas Movie 7 hasn't got a rating yet. What I found odd though was that Movies 8 and 9 have both been shown on the TV but I couldn't find a rating. O.o Weird. At any rate, I'm slightly more excited. =P Yay.

Pretty excited about this I must admit! Hoping that Pokemon is now picking up again in popularity to warrant more releases
