The latest pokemon games console is released!

The Pokemon V-Trainer is a small Pokemon handheld console.
You are a person who goes around and battles various people.
The more trainers you beat, the more points you get, and the stronger your Pokemon become. I think the battles are 3 on 3.

I quote from the pokemon center:
"Battle your Pokémon® characters against the Gym Leader’s Pokémon characters--build up stat points to open up new attacks and earn Badges! You can also battle head-to-head against a friend with another V-Trainer. This V-Trainer game has an LCD screen and comes with Pikachu(also available with Cyndaquil), one Gym Leader cartridge, and a whole lot of fun. To get detailed information, visit Pokémon.com."

If you want to get this 'novelty' it is only available at the Pokemon centers in new york and tokyo.

You either buy the console with a Pikachu or Cyndaquill (for $16.95) though you can buy additional game sets.
The aditional game sets are set 1 & set 2.
Battle Pack Set 1 includes Pokémon characters Raichu, Phanpy, Houndoom, and Misdreavus plus Gym Leaders Morty and Jasmine.
Battle Pack Set 2 includes Pokémon characters Charizard, Espeon, Heracross, and Sentret, plus Gym Leaders Chuck and Whitney.

Unfortunatly they only ship to the US.

This console will be hopefully availible from the Pokemon center on 01/08/02.
