Farfetch'd | Kendo Kendo, meaning "Way of the Sword", is practiced replacing the sword with a wooden weapon to prevent major injury. It is, however, a replacement of the sword, much like the stick of a Farfetch'd, validated by the slew of Pokedex entries stating its use as a sword. Farfetch'd | Quacko This duck's survival is dependent on a leek. And it is probably based on legends of a duck that carries a leek coming to lost and starving travelers in forests, offering itself to be eaten. This duck is wacko, he is loco! Because he is such an nutter, I used quack, being the sound that ducks make and meaning an eccentric or odd person, and wacko, since this duck is so wack, to give him a fitting name. Mon 28 Dec 2009 08:10:30 UTC by smallchild | The Name Rater says... Oh, I see what you've done here. You've nicknamed your Pokémon after yourself so that everybody can see.. Farfetch'd | Schmidt I decided I wanted to hunt for a shiny Pokemon with the Pokeradar, and Farfetch'd was swarming that day. When my chain of Farfetch'd got to 47, I found a shiny one. I decided to nickname him 'Schmidt', because there's an advert on the telly where that guy says "Hans Schmidt...? He's Welsh!" and Farfetch'd is holding a leek, which one of the national emblems of Wales. I know that the nickname isn't Welsh, but I think it's funny. =P Tue 08 Jul 2008 19:36:33 UTC by Sporky | The Name Rater says... Moral of the story: Schmidt happens. Farfetch'd | Duxbury Duxbury is an actual town near where I live, and it's a nice reminder of the "Dux" you get through a trade in Red/Blue. by | The Name Rater says... It will remind everybody who sees it about your ignorant reluctance to think up your own name. |
