Swampert | Swamp Time My Pokémon in emerald is a Swampert. When I had emerald, in my PC the Pokémon nicknames were all weird. So I changed my starter's nickname in Pokemon Emerald, Swamp Time. Swampert | Swampstomp Well this nickname came from my first Pokemon game, Sapphire. I picked a Mudkip and when it evolved I picked this name due to its use of the move Earthquake. Swampert is still my favorite Pokemon, so be nice for once. Tue 21 Aug 2012 04:53:11 UTC by W1N570N | The Name Rater says... Nice? Swampert | Teach I named my Swampert after Edward Teach, more famously known as Blackbeard. One of the most famous pirates in history, he prefered to use his fearsome reputation to get his victims to surrender without a fight. He was known to have stuck lit matches in his braided beard, in order to make himself look more terrifying. During his final battle off the coast of North Carolina, it took five gunshot wounds and twenty saber slashes to kill him. Legend says that after his head was cut off and his body thrown into the sea, his headless body then swam twelve laps around the ship before finally sinking.
