Parasect	Amanita Commonly known as "Fly Garlic", amanita muscaria is the red mushroom with white spots, commonly seen in Mario games, and also Parasect's home on its back. Parasect	Radcrab If you have ever played Fallout there are these giant scorpions called Radscorpions because they were transformed by the radiation. Parasect	Cordyceps Cordyceps is a parasite/fungi that is able to affect the behavior of its insect host. For example, one kind forces ants to climb as high as possible and then die, so that the spores can travel the farthest. This reminded me of how Paras gets taken over by its parasite upon evolution to Parasect. Even some pokedex entries indicate that the mushroom is in control of the insect at this point. PS: "Cordysect" is also an option, combining "cordyceps" and "parasect" in case that has a nicer ring to it. Parasect	Parashroom Parasect looks more like a walking mushroom crab than an insect, so I like Parashroom better. Parasect	Eve It's a reference to the Squaresoft RPG, Parasite Eve. The character Eve is the villian, and, being a Mewtwo fan, I consider Parasects to be pretty threatening. ^_~ by	The Name Rater says... Very clever, but might need a bit of explaining.
