Persian	Negato The "Ne" part of it's name is the first half of the Japanese word for cat. The second half "gato" is spanish for cat. Together, I thought Negato sounded pretty good. Persian	Nyaamu Nyaa is the sound that cats make in Japanese. I wanted to make it more like a name and combined it with shamu from shamuneko, which is Japanese for siamese cat.
