Team Yellow Version

Created by Catstorm

Remember - this would be against a R/B/Y era team!
Thunder the Pikachu
Ability: Static
Moves: Nature: Hasty

Flying and Water counter. Not much as he has the least flexibility - but hey, this is Pikachu Version! General Normal and Electric moveset..

Venomoth
Ability: Shield Dust
Moves: Nature: Modest

Main special power pack of the team.

Bronze the Marowak
Holding Thick Club
Ability: Lightningrod
Moves: Nature: Lax

Koga's worst nightmare.

Glitchy the Omastar
Ability: Shell Armor
Moves: Nature: Calm

I got him through the Mew Glitch. Powerful against many types.

Charizard
Ability: Blaze
Moves: Nature: Naughty

Originally replaced by a Rapidash, Charizard can KO Electric-types and Rock-types and also packs a punch.

Tri the Dodrio
Ability: Early Bird
Moves: Nature: Adamant

Fast, but not very flexible.

Natures don't exist in RBY.

Alright, I have a pretty extensive knowledge of the RBY metagame. Your team is amazingly Rhydon and Golem weak, two of the most common Pokemon in RBY's OU metagame.

Also, even though this is Yellow Version, Raichu is better than Pikachu in every way, since Light Ball doesn't exist. Use Pokemon Stadium to get Surf on Pikachu if you can, and then evolve it. Raichu likes to have Thunderbolt, Surf (OHKOs Golem/ Rhydon), Submission (for Chansey) and Body Slam iirc.

Venomoth... If you're going to use Venomoth, use this set: Sleep Powder, Stun Spore, Psychic, Mega Drain. Sleep Powder the opponent, and Stun Spore it on the switch. Psychic is because Venomoth really doesn't get anything better, and it hits things for neutral. Mega Drain kills off Rhydon and Golem. Sorta. Venomoth isn't a good Pokemon for common OU battles, and will probably die quickly. You'll be lucky if you can get a Sleep Powder off before it hits the ground.

Marowak... wishes it was Sandslash, and Sandslash wishes it was Rhydon, so yeah. Without Thick Club in RBY (since hold items don't exist), Marowak's Attack is pretty poor. If you're going to use it, it's best set is Earthquake for STAB, Body Slam to try to Paralyze foes, Blizzard to hit Grass types and to OHKO Dragonite and Seismic Toss will do 100 damage per turn to anything else it can't get a Super Effective hit on.

Omastar is outclassed by a lot of other Water types, and even it's fossil friend Kabutops does more than it can. Surf, Blizzard, Seismic Toss and Rest is the best you'll get with Omastar. Watch out since Thunderbolt and Earthquake are ridiculously common.

Charizard is an alright Pokemon, but again, aids your weakness to Rhydon/ Golem. Charizard likes having Fire Blast, Swords Dance, Earthquake and Double Edge/ Hyper Beam. In Pokemon Stadium, if you KO the foe when you use Double Edge, you take no recoil damage. If you're battling friends in RBY via Link Cable however, Hyper Beam won't give you a re-charge turn if you KO the foe with it that turn. You're probably not battling friends with this, and probably using Pokemon Stadium, so Double Edge is your best bet.

Dodrio... is absolutely useless in OU. Tauros is much better than Dodrio. I'd recommend ditching Dodrio for something else.

Overall, I'd have to suggest getting rid of a few Pokemon on the team. Pikachu needs to evolve, or be replaced by Zapdos or Electabuzz.

Exeggutor could help, and would likely do Venomoth's job much better than it. Sleep Powder, Psychic, Mega Drain and Explosion (Explosion to KO Chansey).

Sandslash, Golem or Rhydon would do Marowak's job better than it could with Earthquake, Rock Slide, Body Slam and Substitute for Rhydon. If you want to replace Marowak with Sandslash or Golem, just say so and I'll post sets for either of them.

Starmie is a beast, and is a much better Water type than Omastar could ever dream of being. Surf, Thunderbolt, Psychic and Ice Beam if you want an all-out sweeper Starmie. Starmie, however, is sort of outclassed by Alakazam in terms of sweeping, so you could go with Surf, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave and Recover Starmie to give Starmie something that Alakazam can't do.

Charizard is cool, but physical walls like Slowbro, Golem and Rhydon will wall it (Golem and Rhydon don't like risking a Burn from Fire Blast, but the odds are in Golem and Rhydon's favor).

Tauros outclasses Dodrio completely. Body Slam (STAB and Paralysis chance), Earthquake (For Gengar pretty much), Blizzard (Rhydon and Golem, who otherwise wall it) and Double Edge/ Hyper Beam. Again, Double Edge is if you're competiting on Stadium, Hyper Beam is if you've somehow got friends who want to battle with Link Cables.

Whew, that was a long-winded post. The above comments are all assuming you are playing competitively. If this is an in-game team, it probably shouldn't be posted here anyway. I hope you'll consider replacing some of these Pokemon (again, assuming this is competitive), as it'll give you a much higher chance of winning.
