My new 5th gen team
Wota the Samurott

Ability: Torrent
Moves: Nature: Lonely
Attack EV: 252
Special Attack EV: 252

Waterfall and aqua jet gets stab. Ice beam covers his weakness to grass and x-scisssors is more reliable then megahorn

IDC guy the Simisear
Holding Flying Gem
Ability: Gluttony
Moves: Nature: Hasty
Attack EV: 200
Special Attack EV: 56
Speed EV: 252

Flying gem gets used when acrobatics is used and boosts its power, then because the gem has been used Acrobatics power is boosted once again. Brick break covers his weakness to rock. And flamethrower is well flamethrower

GrassBlade the Virizion
Holding Leftovers
Ability: Justified
Moves: Nature: Jolly
Attack EV: 252
Speed EV: 252
HP EV: 4

Swords dance makes virizion powerful, sacred sword ignores any opponent stat changes and gets stab, leaf blade also gets stab and is powerful while stone edge covers his major weakness to flying

HeadsODoom the Hydreigon

Nazca the Sigilyph

Moves: Nature: Bold
Defense EV: 200
Special Attack EV: 200
Special Defense EV: 100
HP EV: 10

Magic guard is a great ability that also prevents life orb damage, roost heals him, psychic and air slash both get stab and calm mind boosts him up even more

Mega Shell the Crustle
Holding Leftovers
Ability: Shell Armor
Moves: Nature: Careful
Attack EV: 150
Defense EV: 150
Special Defense EV: 150
HP EV: 60

stealth rock is standard, rock polish boosts his speed, x-scissors is stab and powerful, stone edge as well. I decided on shell armor over sturdy becuase it is unlikely that i would get OHKO'd and shell armor can prevent the annoyning crit

Well, you sort of have 6 sweepers, so this set would be better suited for in-game. You also have to watch out for Stealth Rock (Crustle, Nazca, and Simisear). ON with the sets:

1) Wota- I won't argue with the X-Scissor vs Megahorn issue. Power vs ACC is something to watch out for. However, Ice Beam seems to be out of place a little bit. You could take that out and invest the EVs elsewhere. Your Bug move covers Grass types, anyway. I would suggest Swords Dance in its place. I normally bash people for having multiple offensive moves for the same type, but I have no problem with the heavy hitter (Waterfall) with the priority move (Aqua Jet).

2) IDC guy- same issue as above, just with Flamethrower. I like the move, but it seems out of place on this set. I would suggest switching to a Flame Gem to still get the Acrobatics boost, but also give your STAB a one-time better punch (mainly there for Skarmory, probably). Either that or: A) make this a pure physical set with Fire Punch/ Flame Gem combo or B) Get rid of FT and use a Fling/ Flame Orb combo for opposing physical sweepers.

That's actually all of the real 'issues' that I have with this team. Maybe use Shell Break on Crustle instead of Polish?

Not a bad team for ingame.

you have 6 sweepers, balence that out and you have 2 glaring weeknesses, rock and ice, fix that!
LanceWest1 on Fri Apr 8 14:37:54 2011.
this is an ingame team so having 6 sweepers is alright, HeadsODoom just gets sent out to use his attack and then returns to me so it is hard for him to get hit. So that isn't two glaring weaknesses, its just two weaknesses that ingame teams rarely use.

Ok, Sigilyph is pretty much my favorite Gen 5 Pokemon, so I have my personal favorite set with him. It requires some heavy breeding with a Xatu, but is worth it. Go for Stored Power/Roost/Cosmic Power/Psycho Shift, holding a Flame Orb. This, once it sets up, is one of the best stalling Pokemon I've EVER seen. A few Cosmic Powers make Stored Power awesome, and Psycho shifting the Burn to your opponents is just great. For EVs, you just have to dump SpAtk into HP, mostly. Dark types would pose a problem, except for the Virizion to come in and demolish them.

Why 2 Water moves on Samurott? Why not attach TM28 onto him so he can cover his ELECTRIC weakness?
LanceWest1 on Wed Apr 27 20:26:49 2011.
Dig is terrible as it gives the opponent time to switch out to a flying type/something with levitate AKA the now non uber Lati-twins

Lance, what about if you made their flying/levitating PKMN faint?
Then it would be useful.
Richard and Blaziken on Sun May 1 04:38:10 2011.
Except it's not useful, because Earthquake does more damage than Dig, and an opponent's Earthquake will hit you while you Dig, and hit you ever harder. Derp.
